Not to sound bitter (Oh wait, too late) - but Tim Bietz the owner of Passion Arabians is a thief and a liar - He has owed me money for almost 2 years now! - My filly won his "Breeders Futiurity" back in '06 - he even took ads out in the Arabian Horse Magazine saying that we were the winners -
Well, his check bounced...and he has never made it right! - All of these years he kept promising and promising that he would pay me and of course that has never happened! I have tried to contact him since I found out about this sale - have even talked to his banker handeling the sale (what does that tell you!) I was told that the horses are all underweight - figures! - If I was in his area I would go to the auctiion and at least try to recoop (some of ) my money in a horse or 2 - If ANYONE knows how to contact Tim Bietz - please let me know Thanks! What is the story with this sale? A few of the horses sound very nice - does he still own all of the horses he has for sale on his web site?

he had a full pg add in the last Modern Arabian mag.......maybe it had a phone number in it??? didnt he use to have a partner(some lady) as well????
Marcy....that just stinks......i just bet the horses sell cheap....it looks like several of them still have their papers pending ......why do people breed like that and not bother to register them |

I have always been of the mindset that people are like me - they do what they say will do - I am learning (late in life) that that is not true - especially in the horse business.
Tim and I had been friendly w/each other over the years - he was VERY pleased w/my filly - He would tell me time and time again that he was not like other people in the industry and that he swore he would make this right - Shame on me for believing him! I can take him to small claims court - but as they say, It is very easy to get a judgment - just hard to collect See as the bank is in control of this sale it is obvious that he/Passion Arabians is going bankrupt - I have heard that he owes alot of $ to people Yes he had a partner named (Dr.) Karen Anderson - she is a worthless you know what - I had heard that she is the reason that so many of the horses do not have papers as her and Tim were trying to disolve their partnership she would not sign off on them - It is interesting - if you email Pasionarabians@aol.com - it is Karen who responds -= she says that she has nothing to do w/Tim and the horses - if that is so then why in the hell is she opening up the email? It is sad how many people breed so many and have no clue what the heck they are doing - now I bet most of these horses will sell for a few hundred dollars or go off to slaughter - sad |

Looks like more added. 70 horses total. Hope they all get good homes. That is an awful lot for one breeding facility to disperse at once.

I didn't see PA Hi-Noon as part of the listing. Was he sold recently that I never heard about or just "exempt" maybe?

Does anyone know if the pending registrations have all their paperwork done and at AHA and just waiting for money or is it just a way of saying they aren't reg?

I wish there were pictures (conformation of course) posted. I hate to drive 10 hours and not find anything that I wanted.
Russ - if you go to map quest you should be able to see where the closest airport is. The Addis web site now lists 87 head (in the partial listing, not the catalog) including a full sister to Magnum Psyche's dam. I am planning to go see the horses on Thursday. If anyone is interested in a particular horse or horses, I can try to get pictures. Just PLEASE do not expect Dick Reed quality photos! His are amazing...mine will hopefully be adequate. PM me with name/number of horse or horses. An email from Addis said that registration papers were guaranteed by the Bank of Illinois...whatever that means.

A friend of mine is there right now and she said what a mess. They are kicked up , bit up , and thin. She said the yearlings look stunted and the weanlings are off their Moms and they shouldn't be. She said mares with foals on their sides and they don't know who the mares are let alone the sire. Very sad.
