We are having a competition trail ride, the first ever here at Mark Twain Lake on August 30th. We had originallyh planned to have it on May 22nd, but
due to the high water, we decided to postpone it until August. My girlfriend just lost her daughter to breast cancer and we are partnering with Hannibal
Regional Hospital to raise money for the cancer center in Hannibal, Mo. We are going to propose to the hospital to have the ride in her name.

We are hoping to have a great turnout. Even if you don't want to compete, you can come and ride with us. The Ride will be August 30th.
More info will be posted as plans are made. The trails at Mark Twain Lake are rocky, so shoes are needed. Come and have a wonderful fellowship
and meet new friends. The camping is great there and if you are not a camper, you can check in at the motel.

If you want to know more, please e mail me at mmranch@marktwain.net. The American Trail Horse Association will donate funds from the proceeds to
the horse rescue of our choice. I am going to designate our funds to arabian horse rescue. I am hoping to get over 60 riders. There is a water park nearby
to play in if you don't ride and even if you do, you can cool off there. Please make plans to come and join us. We will help you make your accomadations
if you let me know ahead of time.

Let's show this quarter horse community what arabians can do. I am needing some judges, so if you want to judge, let me know. I need at least 6. Prizes are
going to be cash and donated items from local businesses. Now would be a great time to take a much needed vacation. I promise you that you will
have a great time. There will be a dog contest too. You can google in compeition trail riding and see the rules from the national association. Please come
and join us. I would like to have ablackhorse.com get together. I might even bring Sparkle. She is the life of the party. zon.gif
